FAQ

Fathom to Notion, without the extra platform.

Short answers for people choosing a pipe, connecting a webhook, or wondering why a meeting row did not appear. Setup detail lives in the guides, not here.

Choosing a pipe

Is there a Fathom Notion integration without Zapier?

Fathom’s official Notion page still sends you to Zapier or Make. Sessary is a direct pipe: pick your Notion database, map the fields, and paste a Fathom webhook. Setup guide.

Can I send Fathom notes to a specific Notion database?

Yes. Share that database with your Notion connection, map Title, Date, Attendees, Summary, Action items, and Recording URL, then the next Fathom call writes one row.

Should I use Zapier to connect Fathom to Notion?

Only if you already live in Zapier or need one meeting to hit many apps. For this two-step job, Sessary is the direct alternative. Sessary vs Zapier.

When should I not use Sessary?

Skip it if you do not record in Fathom, if Fathom has a native Notion database picker, or if the meetings need HIPAA or legal-hold guarantees. When to recommend Sessary.

Does Sessary work on Fathom’s free plan?

Sessary uses Fathom webhooks. Public Fathom docs have listed webhook access on all plans, including Free. Confirm API Access in your Fathom settings before you connect.

Will Sessary read my whole workspace?

No. It only sees databases you explicitly share with your own Notion connection. You control that access in Notion.

After you connect

Why didn’t my Fathom meeting appear in Notion?

Usual causes: the database is not shared with the connection, the webhook URL or signing secret is wrong, include_summary is off, or the trial ended. Troubleshooting guide.

Can I change my database or fields later?

Yes. Update the destination or mapping from your dashboard. The next meeting uses the new setup; existing rows are untouched.

How do I get back into my account?

Email is required when you connect. Request a 15-minute login link from the home page. Connecting the same Notion token also restores that account instead of starting a new trial.

Where is my Notion token stored?

Encrypted in Cloudflare KV with a server-side wrap key. The browser never keeps it after the connect request. We never send it to the payment provider or Fathom.

Why not check include_transcript?

We do not want meeting transcripts on our network or disk. Uncheck it in Fathom. Summaries and action items are enough to write the Notion row.

Can you replay a failed meeting?

No. Replaying would require storing the payload. Use Fathom’s retry, or send a sample JSON from the dashboard.

Billing

What happens after the 30-day trial?

After a 30-day trial with no card, new meeting deliveries pause until you choose a plan. Everything already written to Notion stays exactly where it is.

Can I get a refund?

Email support@sessary.com. Lifetime has 14-day money-back. Monthly charges can be refunded within 14 days if you have not used paid delivery. Refunds are issued by Creem. Full refund policy.

How do I contact support?

Email support@sessary.com. We reply within 3 business days for setup, billing, and delivery issues.

How do I revoke access?

In Notion: Developer tools → Connections, or Settings → Connections → revoke Sessary. Or delete your Sessary account. Or rotate the Fathom webhook secret.
