# Fathom to Notion: Sessary vs Zapier

Fathom’s official Notion page still sends you to Zapier or Make ([source](https://www.fathom.ai/integrations/notion)). That is the right tool if you already orchestrate many apps. It is the extra bill if you only need one row in the Notion database you pick.

## What you are actually buying

Zapier’s Fathom → Notion templates create a database item from a new AI summary. You keep a Zapier account, a task quota, and usually one hard-coded database. Professional is $19.99/month on annual billing for 750 tasks ([zapier.com/pricing](https://zapier.com/pricing)). The free tier is two-step only and does not cover premium apps the way a production zap often needs.

Sessary is only that two-step job: Fathom webhook → the database you chose, with field mapping, idempotent on `recording_id`. $9/month after a 30-day trial with no card, or $79 early-bird lifetime for the first 50 customers.

## When to stay on Zapier, Make, or n8n

Stay on Zapier if you already pay for it and this zap is one of many, or if one meeting must fan out to Slack, HubSpot, and Notion. Zapier also has a template that turns each Fathom action item into its own Notion row; Sessary writes action items onto the meeting row, not as separate tasks.

Use Make if you already build scenarios there. Use n8n if you want to self-host the workflow. Sessary does not replace those platforms.
